Although Bison have been existing in Wildlife Parks across the Uk they have not truly lived wildly for about 6,000 years. The 4 Bison that will be introduced at Wilder and West Blean Woods are the closest living relatives to the Bison that roamed the Uk woodlands and countrysides all that time ago! The Wilder Blean Woods are also introducing Exmoor Ponies and Iron-aged pigs to help restore the biodiversity of the ancient woodlands.

Kent Wildlife Trust and The Wildwood Trust are two Charities dedicated to conservation, protecting and improving habitats.
